Go Nightly is free to anyone looking to get around late at night but, remember, there’s still a county-wide curfew for non-essential drivers and employees to shelter-in-place between the hours of 10pm and 5am. The same goes for people requiring wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Miami-Dade is covering the cost of rides up to $45, though riders will be charged if the location falls outside of the designated zone. Those without smartphones can call 78 and a transit representative will see to sending a car to pick them up. To participate, riders with smartphones must sign up for a voucher on Uber or, if using Lyft, enter the promo code ‘GONIGHTLY’ on the app. ![]() Essentially a complimentary ride-share service, the alternative transportation system uses Uber and Lyft to get passengers within a quarter-mile radius of the canceled bus routes: 3, 11, 27, 38, 77, 112/L, 119/S, 246, 500. Starting Friday, April 10, those folks who need to get around between the hours of midnight and 5am can use a new on-demand service called Go Nightly. ![]() The Miami-Dade Transit System has canceled all overnight bus service, but it's not leaving its residents stranded.
